RURAL ENCOUNTERS ON ENVIRONMENT AND FILM (REEF) FESTIVAL SHORT: TREE OF HELL

SYNOPSIS

Raed discovers by chance that the beautiful tree growing in front of his house is one of the invasive trees that threatens the environmental diversity in the Lebanese forest. He begins the journey of exploring this tree with his friend Hadi and Dr. Muhammad, who specializes in invasive plants, at a time when the country is exposed to another type of invasion represented by Israeli attacks on humans and their environment.

التي تهدد التنوع البيئي في الغابة اللبنانية، فيبدأ رحلة استكشاف هذه الشجرة مع صديقيه

 هادي  والدكتور محمد المتخصص بالنباتات الغازية  في وقت تتعرض فيه البلاد 

لنوع آخر من الغزو متمثل بالإعتداءات الإسرائيلية على الإنسان وبيئته. 

 

ABOUT REEF

REEF is an event combining cinema, nature, and rural life through screening films that address rural issues and concerns, in addition to workshops for producing short films. In parallel to the screenings, participants get acquainted with the nature of the area, its people, and their customs.
