SYNOPSIS

Honey seekers Aisha and Ghareeb roam the northern mountains of the United Arab Emirates in search of wild bees, face everyday difficulties and engage in their own worries. As for the bees, they are also occupied with the changing climate, the challenges of survival and the production of honey. Involuntarily, the bees became integral to the human lives that depend on them. They are responsible for their sustenance, and sometimes in abundant quantities. However, to what extent can the bees keep generously providing? 

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

NUJOOM ALGHANEM is an Emirati poet, artist, producer, and multi- award-winning film director. She was born in Dubai- UAE in 1962 and graduated with MA in Film Production from Griffith University in Australia in 1999. In 1996, she finished her Bachelor degree from Ohio University in the US. Besides the recognition awards, she has won various regional and international prizes that positioned her as one of the most significant film directors in the Gulf region. She has produced eight feature documentaries plus twelve short fiction, non-fiction and art films.
